Just took the plate for a cruise around my house. Just thought I would post a few things you wont find in the big US of A while doing so.

As you can see were told to drive down the wrong side of the road ;)

As you can see we can do 60 on a suburban street! Well kph anyway.

Just coming up to a Ford Territory which has just been released 5 months ago and is Fords biggest selling 4wd here and the first time they have locally produced a 4x4 wagon.

This is the town of Mooroolbark which is behind me and means Red Earth in aboriginal. Not so unique is the KFC's on the left!

Check the price of petrol sold at Safeway. It has just dropped this week from $104.9 AUD a litre to 96.5 cents. To mean something to you guys, it was $104.9 which = 82 cents USD. a litre. X by 3.8 to get it into US gallons and you have $3.11 a gallon!

Final pose shot in the carpark at Safeway where we were picking up supplies for a Outback trip next week ;)

Hey John, I think you should add the the little story on my first post along with the photos you posted on the World Tour page. Makes it funny for those who only see your site and not this one. ;)

Good idea, I have to think up something clever, and that takes a few days. :D

19 hours ahead of the your West coast.
Yep it's hot and have all the doors and windows open to try and get the heat out. Around 30*C at the moment but a big storm is just blowing in as a type tonight with driving rain. Still will be mid 20's all week before hitting the 30's on the weekend. Doesn't really get hot here though until Febuary - March when all the kids start their new year back in school.

hot in February/March, kids starting school...you guys really are backwards ;) I was just reading about the Wet in national Geographic. I'd like to see that sometime...maybe someday when I'm richer and have the time to go away for a few months.

Dan, what about the shot of you wearing nothing but the plate and a smile? Saving that one for John's birthday?
