looking to go to OBX

I am at tacoma washington at the moment.soon I will be getting out of the army, and coming home to lovely virginia.I havent been to OBX in almost four years would like to go either 1st or 2nd weekend in sept. anyone interested in meeting up and going to the beach.

Just got the Jerkee lifted .... stoked for some sand !! My sis ( '07 FJ Cruiser ) and my pops ( 2K XJ ) are there today and tomorrow but I'm workin . May head therre tomorrow .... not sure yet .

I'll be in the OBX > Oregon Inlet to be specific > on Aug 13th as well as my pops in his XJ and a nice mixture of other Jeeps and Toyotas ( a hemi Grand , a Sahara , a 4-runner and about 20 FJ Cruisers ) . We're gonna be crashing the FJ GTG that my sis has put together . It's all good though ... it's an open invite to anyone . Besides ... they might need a few Jeeps with pushropes ! So if anyone sees me or a buttload of Toy H2s , give us a honk !!

Also > I might try to get together with her on a big GTG in Sept or Oct . I'll make sure I post it up when we decide .

looks like im not the only one who lives at the beach (when around ) just a thought we ought to put something together next year so we can all meet each other. just for kicks call it jeep week, doing it in aug sept would be enough time to prep thats 1 year.post what you guys and gals think.

Hell ... we don't ned a year . We can get it rollin if we put effort into it NOW for late Sept or early Oct . Keep in mind ho freakin HAWT it is when there is no shelter or nowhere to hide from the sun . I'm sure it's gonna hot next Sat , but I didn't arrange this one .

Of course , if you wanna make a weekend out of it > we could always get a hotel with group rates for early next year . Hit Corolla Sat and Oregon Inlet Sun and HOOTERS all times in between !!! hahaah .

Maybe it could be an annual event ! I think a few of these hardcore rockers and trailers could use a chill day in the sugar .
