Its getting about time to purchase some fox air shocks for the front of my Jeep. Will be plating the frame from the leaf spring mount all the way to the front bumper and also building a engine cage. Everyone I know is telling me to go with 2.5's and not 2.0's. I will be daily driving, rock crawling, and like to go fast when I can. People say the 2.5's unload less but ride a bit harsher, is this true? What have you guys experienced with air shocks? Should I go 2.5 over 2.0? How much pressure are you guys running in them?

Both sizes depend on how you tune them. The 2.5's are bigger and hold more oil and have more potential to perform better overall and handle more weight, but both can be set up to work well. It takes some time and know how to get either of them to work as well as they can work.

Think I have scratched the idea of air shocks. Have to move alot of stuff around in the engine bay and don't want to spend the time doing it right now. I think I am going to go with Fox 2.0 resi shocks with the external CD adjustment and stick with coil springs.
