A buddy of mine wants to put a new engine in his old SWB Jeep. He is running a 4.2L and he wants more pep but a good stable vehicle. My plan is to find a donor that I can pull the engine from and build a stroker for him. He currently has an AX-15 tranny and I need a bell housing so I can mount the CPS.
My plan is to pull the complete engine harness and swap it over, including maybe the gauge cluster.
So then engine can be old and tired but needs to be rebuildable with a .060 over bore.
I will also be looking for a heavy 4.2L crank and rods.
