Locked Dana 44 and coporate 14

A friend of mine is trying to get rids of his axles. The front is a HP dana 44 with detriot locker and 5.38's. The rear is a Corporate 14 bolt, detroit locked with 5.38's. Axles have very little miles on them, came out of 70's chevy truck. He is asking 1500 OBO. Thanks

Correct me if I'm wrong but if it is out of a chevy it would be a passenger drop and wouldn't work in an xj. I am very tired and could be wrong.

thats right i didnt think about that the 44 front is a p/s drop on the chevy good thinking chowder

I will check, and I could be wrong myself, but I thought it was a driver drop. I will find out for sure and let you know though. Neither is set up for an xj, I should have been more specific. The front and rear are currently set up for leaf springs and are full width.

If the dana 44 is truly from a Chevy it will be pass drop and low pinion. High pinion front ends from that era is a ford thing.

I would like more info. on the rear 14 bolt. what is the axle width wms to wms (wheel mating surface) Disk or Drum brakes, Price?
