Little Red

Generally, 1psi per 100 rpm is considered safe. So your number don't suggest a need to do anything. If you're pulling the pan anyway for RMS, then might just throw a new pump in, but I doubt I'd bother pulling caps.
every other 4.0 I've had hovered between 35-40 PSI cruising down the highway, and all of those have double or triple the miles this one has. I guess as long as it's not making ugly noises I'll run it. I need to have a good spare shortblock on hand anyway since I've got two daily driver 4.0s.

Cool that's where I set it
that one was a longbed, so it doesn't seem to matter, that's where it needs to be.

6th load of the day. I'm tired. Dana 35 hates me.

and yes I took off my rust free tailgate while loading. Can't risk damaging that bit. I set it like 30 feet away.

I paid 100 for one from another NAC member a few years ago.

I very rarely get them for anywhere from 50 to 75 at the junkyard in good shape.

ebay prices are insane, but then again I visit the junkyards about 30 weekends a year. If I had any spares right now they'd probably be on ebay for 200 each.

:eeks1: guess i'm going to get crucified here then...

Really like seeing comanche's that aren't beat to crap and still used every day.

nawww, did you see the last one I owned?

I just came to the realization that I HAD the best midsize pickup ever owned, and I boned that up.

So when it came time to get another, I figured I'd do it right.
I've been driving it a month, and gotten more done around the yard/house than I have in the last year.

I didn't realize how much I'd missed a pickup, and I've still got the wienerbox for really big jobs.

I'm gonna get a sicker that says that.

MJ comes into the 21st century, handsfree and all that.

I'm not sure who "OEM Tech" is, or was or what involvment that had with pretty ricky here, but they suck. I found paper stickers over speaker wire splices and was of the "meh it's speaker wire", but this is completely hacktacular.

at least it made diagnosing the failed parking lamp easy. I replaced the whole harness with a later model one. Not playing the spliced wire game on this.

Flushed the cooling system, it was naaaassssty owing to a previous owner filling it with water, and then letting it go dry.

Back to healthy green coolant

I bet I ran 50 gallons of water through it. It's stayed green for the last two days, so hopefully I got it all. I'll probably end up flushing it again before winter just to make myself feel better about life.

I've got a nice rust-free tailgate, too! Maybe one day I'll own an MJ.

all the col kids are getting MJs.

I've even talked Doug into one.

They truly are that much better than a XJ.

Or groceries.... Nothing like coming out of Walmart with a full cart just to find it raining..
I can totally stuff all of this in the cab.
