Did I neglect to mention that I only paid $55 for two fingerprint cards and a background check...and had my license 5 days later? :D CPL acquisition and firearm purchase took less time than the non-CPL holder waiting period. :kissyou:

hmm, my CCW cost 10 dollars and was back to me in two days, walked out with the gun 30 minutes after I went in. :flipoff2:

So, I'm guessing you didn't have to take the handgun safety test?
True or False - It's a bad idea to point a loaded gun at your face and pull the trigger?

Yeah, WTF? $25 for the HST. I had my Basic Firearms Safety card from the DOJ. But they said that wasn't valid anymore. Pretty silly test...I scored 100%.

Plus $30 for the DOJ. Plus the shop said I had to buy a lock ($16), even though I told them I had one at home.

Things have changed since I bought my last gun. Oh well...

Ha...I missed one. It was the one about when and when not to shoot an attacker...I chose to protect my stuff as well as myself. :D

This is next in line for me:

My USP is just too big to carry on my slight frame (150 lbs soaking wet), so I think I've made up my mind on one of these. It's a .45 which I prefer, and for a smaller piece it has decent capacity of 10 rounds.

SIG P220R Carry:

I think while I'm at it I'm going to pick up a little sister to my M1. All my buddies have ARs and I want a .223 rifle also, just not an AR. My solution:

SIG 556:

i used to think sig was a good gun, recently a friend of mine had a p220 blow up in his hands. split the case right at the base. somehow the gun fired out of battery. it blew out the mag and split the frame just above the trigger gaurd. he called sig and was basiclly told to kiss thier a$$. he sent samples of the ammo to the manufacturerer (speer) and was quickly returned a test report that showed everything was right. he sent this to sig along with the gun and ask them to tell him what went wrong. they never responded. he again called them and was told "i don't know what to tell you" . after checking several gunsmiths he found out that sig and wilson combat are the worst for warranty repairs. he has since bought a springfield xd45 and loves it. another thought is, have you thought about an hk compact? that is what i carry everyday and love the way it performs. just a thought. i'm sure sig is still good quality but i would not buy anything from a gun maker that won't stand behind thier products.
