I did not know that.
And here I thought the People's Republic of Illinois only produced laws, lots and lots of laws.

Sorry, that is the People's Daley Worship Center. They hold almost daily services in a secret place only known as "Wrigleyville"

Many of you pups probably have no clue who he is, but Red Skelton was from Vincennes, Indiana ...

Don't forget about Benjamin Harrison, James Whitcom Riley, and Johnny Appleseed ...

.... and don't forget about the Badlands :greensmok

Have a nice day, feeling the hot breath of a 400 lbs. Armenian inmate on the back of your neck...stop.

Uhhhhhh, you guys haven't mentioned that AXLE ROSE is from IN, Lafayette to be precise. C'mon now!

I didn't think anyone wanted to claim that a$$hole! I sure wouldn't.

I'm not "up" on rock stars, but my daughter talks about some guy that sang with a group called Blind Melon (?) ... (my memory associates this with Blind Melon the Blues Singer). She says they have some sort of monument in Lafayette for him ... he was from there too.

Rock Stars (or entertainers for that matter) are not "hero's" to me either unless they have contributed something else besides their talent ... including John Cougar Melonhead ... hmmm ... another melon? Damn, now my memory is all screwed up on his real last name!

Zackly. Hex pal, you're not helping here.

Hey, if I had smileys you would have known I was being sarcastic!!!!! Guess I better pay up. The lead singer of Blind Melon was Shannon Hoon, thats before he overdosed and died.
