Legality of LED tail lights?

I wanna get Thors quarter guards eventually with the built in tail light boxes...anyone know the legality of them in MA? Can we run them or no?

i would think so...plenty of people i know run LEDs on TJs with no problems...

Not knowing MA law the only thing I could imagine that you would be up against would be total light surface area (3" round should be good here as a lot of large trucks have those lights from the factory) and having a reflector (be it built in or seperate). A lot of people forget about reflectors and that could technically be a citation down the road.

As for the technology.. Rich people pass laws. Rich people cars have LED ligths now. You'll be good on that end
