Well I now have a major leak of tranny fluid coming from the quick connect on the line going to the lower port on the radiator. Think I can just cut the connect off and throw 2 hose clamps on it?
im sure you could, i mean all that goes into my 3 tranny coolers is a cut line with a hose clamp, but is that end on the radiator flared out and wide enough to keep that tranny line on there? go to a junkyard and get a new fitting and then pull the entire line comeing from the tranny on a good veichle and use that, wouldnt cost more than like 8$...
That's what I did, too. Works great. I took advantage of having the system open to flush the transmission and add a transmission cooler from a Ford Explorer.
how do you disconnect the quick connect lol im going to the junk yard tomorow n i wanna be prepared if i have to ill just cutt it and clamp it but id rather do it the legit way
