leaf springs shape ?

Does anyone know anything about this shape of leaf spring.

potentially a strange overload spring, but i'd guess from that picture its just bent.

It,s exactly the same on both sides.

then I would guess overload spring. Look at it again, how thick that bottom spring is. Its likely there to stop the upper springs from sagging down too far when its fully loaded.
