Simple question, are there any known leaf spring packs that could swap strait over to an XJ that someone could find at a junk yard to give any size of lift? (I have already read all of the posts on Junk yard treasures and Junk yard findings or whatever and all talk about the dreaded AAL.) Thank you!!

When people talk about adding junkyard packs, they are replacing the springs under the main leaf, this is known as a bastard pack.
This setup is way different then a standard, frowned upon, AAL. AALs are just a single thick "spring" that doesn't want to flex.

I know of no spring that will just bolt up in the stock location. I'm running full F-150 packs, but have modified the shackle hanger, etc...
