i'll have a gas fired space heater in the fab shop area & ductless heat pumps in the assembly areas on the second floor.
forms were set today.
vapor barrier, sand, & rebar are onsite & go in starting tuesday.
concrete is ordered for 6 am on wednesday the 8th.

trusses are scheduled to go up on 6/30.

Looks like you will have a high roof on one half and a second story on the other. smart use of space.

sold the 53' semi trailer that i had filled up when we moved up here...

and to celebrate one year of retirement & my 50th birthday, i bought another 1963 impala super sport like the one i had in high school...

all in all i think 2016 has been a pretty good year. moving to Oregon was a great decision!

so I sold the big red p.o.s. finally.
I'll miss it. I had a shit ton of fun building it & bashing on it at deer valley & slick rock, but it had been sitting for the last two years as I was planning my retirement, moving to Oregon, remodeling a bunch of my rentals, building my new shop, etc. etc.
It went to a good home on the Oregon coast.
I still have my daily driver 98 xj & my green 2000 xj trail rig, but have been buying a bunch of antique Harley-Davidsons to fill up the shop lately. I have been riding Harleys since I was 17 & slowed down on them while getting sidetracked by hot rods, then drag racing, then rock crawling, but it's full steam ahead with bikes now.
 
Sad to see the rig go but im glad your happy getting back to your roots
