and it does not work...did all proceedures that atsco asked for...has new pump...new hoses and new rack....shoot even new tie rod ends....the only parts reused where the jam nuts..It seems that when the vehicle is running it is harder to turn than when not...I hooked up the hoses as the diagram said that came with the new rack. but Im wonderig what would happen if the hoses where reversed?....any ideas

UPDATE
Well called atsco this am...they diagnosed the problem as a stuck check valve in the pressure side of the power steering pump....crimped off the pressure hose while the car was running the pump should squeel like a stuck pig...it made no noise so so teh tech said its a stuck check valve......remove the plessure line, and the large nut that the pressure hose screws into holds the valve...take it out clean it up..... reassemble.....and system now works...mine started to work a bit as soon as I released crimp in the pressure line with the channel locks...it built up enough pressure to free up the valve....hope thie info will help someone else
