Almost
But Jon, Remember, I have a 1 o'clock so we have to make this as efficient as possible. I don't need to tell you how much this recession is making us need to do more with less.
I am going to run these numbers, and we can order in to make sure that deadlines are met.

I am going to send out a communication to let everyone know our new Saturday and Sunday Dress policy.
It seems HR has been in here on the W/E and seen some things they don't like so its my Responsibility to get that corrected ASAP.

Yes, let me stress again how we need to reinstate the "professional appearance" of all employees at all times. Please keep your work area neat and tidy, throw away any unneeded papers and organize any stacks neatly. make sure all drawers and doors are closed and that all your paper clips are facing in the same direction inside of your dispenser. It would be an embarassment to the department if management were to see your work area otherwise. And no more NAXJA, your work station is for company purposes only.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

I just want to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for all of you taking time out of your busy schedules to attend my mandatory safety meeting.
It has come to our attention that improper safe effort is being taken in the parking lot.
We would like to request that you back your cars into the parking spaces instead of pulling in. By doing this you will use the amount of time for backing when you are entering the parking lot and working to identify your proper parking space. Thus reducing the likeliness that an individual could get injured by a vehicle backing out of a parking space.

And remember "Home Safe" is our motto.

I will immediately schedule an after action review to identify possible failures, and eliminate waste in future traveling endeavors.
Lets not forget to focus on ROI for this project.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

So I was grinding down the rest of the cargo area in the jeep today and my mom comes home and complains that I never wear my safety glasses...5 minutes later, a hot chunk of metal flies up and gets stuck in my eye haha. Luckily it managed to bounce off my cheek bone and take a little chunk out of my glasses ( I was wearing my regular glasses at the time) before it landed in my eye.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

similar thing happened to me. i was using a cut off wheel without saftey glasses on, a tiny shard of metal flew off into my eye and i had to go to a special eye doctor, and they had to scrap into my cornea to get it out. never again will i forget to put saftey glasses on.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

i wear safety glases and I still got a piece of rust in my eye so they don't always help.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

yeah that's some nasty sheeit... you need a super magnet to suck those bits out... if that world work. Luckily I haven't had any permanent bits in my eye yet... just ones that bounced off my eye and left a scrape.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Dayum...haha I think it helped that it hit my face and then my glasses before going into my eye, but it seems ok. I usually wear either my regular glasses or a pair of at least sunglasses when I'm grinding if I'm too lazy to look for safety goggles, but I picked up a set of better safety glasses tonight. They're shaped so crap can't fly up through the bottom of them.
