I will never put it in, I am too Darn tall. I hit my head on Jon's all the time.
all it needs is some spray glue and upholstery.. (a good way to re-upholster it is to wrap it in camo duct tape which was my plan until i realized that I don't know if I am going to do it...


Hammered... Yeah, I feel for you there, I had to battle with that on a couple cars before I got it right.
and getting it right is a lot of work. The most effective way I found was to take a belt, or orbital sander to the back board and remove all prior glue and residue from the failed headliner.
Then apply the glue
Let the glue dry for a little while and then apply the fabric.
then some glues' you can apply over the fabric that wil make it a little stif but will help adhere it better.
I have only done it about 6 times so I am not an expert, but thats what I found.

seems like a better setup to me.. and serves as a snorkel somewhat.. as long as your windshild wipers arent subemerged you should be good!

Me and Hammered were having this discussion earlier. I don't think that I will ever "need" that though. Thats the thing. And there is less hacking involved so if I need to go back and do the cowl someday I can.

His kids are hilarious. When we came back from NACfest, his 3 year old walked up and stared at Brad's Jeep....and was like "daddy, your jeep is a friggin mess!" haha.
