Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

I think i have seen one or two pictures, you have a Tank in the back where the spare was right?
like many other things I keep putting it off because i don't want to half-ass it like I do so many other things. I start little projects and then don't finish them, because a tree falls down or the hot water heater bursts... etc...anyway yeah maybe by the end of this summer i will have the parts for it.

on another note...
I called JCR today about my 1-ton UTK kit, they got the tubes in today and said it should ship on monday. So I am getting excited. I have the reamer anyone around here have the right drill bits to do their 1-ton kit?

hey man, lemme know if you need help with OBA, I gots all the info for ya. A couple of these guys have a copy of the diagram I drew up as a design for the system using the stock AC compressor. The pics wreckless posted above is the 'easiest' IMO AC compressor to work with, I think he paid $15 for it at the JY? When you have that style you can go to home depot or anywhere that sells plumbing supplies and get 3/4 to 3/8 reducer fittings which then gives you 3/8 npt to start you off.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Thanks I might take you up on that once I have some money to spend on the oiler and stuff.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Gonna finally finish wiring up my OBA today...I've been kinda slacking doing stuff on it. I mounted the switch and ran the wires for the pressure switch yesterday...Just gotta wire up the switch to turn the compressor on/off and then wire up the switch for the ARB.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

anytime, I drew up a new one thats a little better detail. One day I'm gonna draw one up on a computer program and post it somewhere here. But I'll throw it in my car and make some copies if you want one.

muduck, when you do go to get some stuff Sears craftsman was the ONLY place around I could actually find an air tool oiler in stock. That was cheap, < $10

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

less than 10... really? Lowes wants like 17 or 20 I think,
Which Sears did you go to? the Shillington one?

good deal will probably stop in tommorow sometime in the morining

how much should I budget for this?

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

I would say your probably gonna end up spending around $200 or so.

Depends on what kinda deal you find on an air tank and pressure switch (I went with VIAIR on both)

Then depends on how cheap you wanna go on fittings, air hose, blow off valve etc etc.

Sears in the mall. I'm just talking about the little clear plastic reservoir for the oil, now the water/air seperator, that was like $30

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Ihave that blue manifold, and a metal housing oil separator, the separator alone was 40 and the manifold was 15? I forget... I'll sell em both together for 30 If one of you guys wants it.

you may have a deal
I still have to figure out how much it will cost to get the freon taken out of my system

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

I am so pumped! When do you think you will get it in? I am excited to get ur lift on man! Then we can do my mirror (well I can) and we can do ur lift, and you could sleep over too.

Re: NAC Lots-O- Posts Thread-Part Deux

Im getting this one

theres a ton of discussion about it in the tj forum and at this height most don't need to lower their t-case at all which is good for me since the t-case skid on a tj is more like a shovel

and I am going to stick with 32" bighorns

now do I get a tire carrier or throw the spare in the tub and get an aussie for the front:dunno:
