I like that one, its nice and small. it won't run an impact for long, but it will work...

Typically you don't need to run an impact for long...

The trick is to bump the idle up slightly, then you can run most anything. When I am airing up my tires, I would bump the idle up to around 1200-1500rpm, and I can air up all my tires in 2 min or less. I just pop the hood and wedge in a small piece of plastic under the throttle body linkage... works great.

well you dont have much room in that cargo area... :bunny:. that will give you some mounting options.

yeah your AC lines mount like mine did... you can use your stock hoses. Thats what I did to safe on cost and utilise the OEM fitting on top of the compressor

cody... I bet an 97+ XJ oem fitting would fit on there... in case you wanted to save your stock one... use the JY XJ one as a guinea pig

I just got an impact at harbor freight... Works great. Muduck, You should see my little set up. I'm kinda proud of it :sad1:

what do you mean by this?

I mean the aluminum thing that attaches to the top of the compressor, with black hoses attached.

The XJ has the same thing only the hoses are both out the back instead of how yours is... one the goes sideways and down.

yeah I wish I had a pic, but basically it would save you having to cut up your AC system and put the OBA hoses in an easier to manage location.. I think...

I think i have seen one or two pictures, you have a Tank in the back where the spare was right?
like many other things I keep putting it off because i don't want to half-ass it like I do so many other things. I start little projects and then don't finish them, because a tree falls down or the hot water heater bursts... etc...anyway yeah maybe by the end of this summer i will have the parts for it.

on another note...
I called JCR today about my 1-ton UTK kit, they got the tubes in today and said it should ship on monday. So I am getting excited. I have the reamer anyone around here have the right drill bits to do their 1-ton kit?
