locking lugnuts on a jeep? only its you have a rear tire carrier.. i had one on my TJ cause obviously the spare so easy to access.

yeah locking nuts are really not my preference. its not like i park on a city street or anything. yeah i would def. lock up a spare on a mount though. if it's a good lock i really dont care, esp if the price is the same. not something i would pay more for though.

I used locking lug nuts (just one on each wheel) when I lived in State College. I took them a few months ago and never put them back on. I found them to be more of a hassle than anything, and it was annoying to have to take them off whenever I took the Jeep in for inspection, alignment, etc.

Well this is what happens when the "key" for the stupid lock pretty much breaks while you are trying to tighten the lug. (that's an ugly gouge on a PERFECT wheel, not just a mark that will buff out...)

And about half the lugs fell apart like this. One would expect that the cap would at least be pressed in to the opening on the nut--nope, just glued. $26.49 well spent, huh?

yea u gotta get to the junk yard for one thing...then you gotta pull them off a good set of aluminum rims. for steel wheels who cares. i don't want these to fall off.

Finally got my new leaf springs in. Now my junk rides ass high pretty bad heh. I'm thinking though, I'm going to put my 3/4" spacers in the front and that'll put me at 5.25" in the front. I'm hoping that when these springs settle in, I'll be level after the spacers.
