Just finished up my XJ today take a look!!!! Before and After Pics!!

the rear bar would be a huge help. and get some Disco end-links for the front bar, so you can flex alot more offroad, then hook them back up for the road.

only problem that i know of, make sure your not using stock Brake lines without the swaybar, i would recommend upgrading to braided steel lines. that are a bit longer.

Should have been included in the lift, RE 4.5.

Edit: and according to the RE website you should have discos already?

Lookin good!

The only thing you'll notice with the rear sway bar off is that you'll feel it flex more when you go over bumps slowly, like speed bumps and what not. You won't notice a difference at all driving on the road. I took mine off because it started rubbing on my tire, so I really had no choice.

With the RE lift, i'm surprised they left it on. My RE 3.5" kit stated to take it off and leave it off.

As for brake lines, you should have the stainless steel one for the rear that came with the lift, and you might want to consider extending the front as well. I get by OK at my height with the stock ones up front, but I'll probably end up extending and upgrading them before too long.

And even though you got the 4.5" kit, I can promise you you're going to sit higher than that even after it settles out. My 3.5" netted closer to 4" from what I can tell.

Looks sharp. What size tires? Did you get the bumpstops done too?

I need to swap my rear brake lines, they aren't nearly long enough. Anyone know of a good write-up for that off-hand?

Jeep looks good. I think I know where you took these pics. I will go up to Aetna on the 28th and I am from Hiram, you can ride up with us if you like.

Ditto on coming to Aetna with Southeast Offroad on Feb 28th. You will have a blast, I promise. If you dont, I will buy your fuel.

Thats a nice clean double duty XJ you have. I am new to the XJ world too and am loving it. Props to the ones that caught the self wheeling and empty off camber parking.

This worked for me at work.
Go to your Control Panel
Double click internet options
Go to the advanced tab
scroll down to multimedia and make sure the "show picture" box is checked, and I think "Smart image dithering" is checked.
Other than that its over my head. Hope that helps.
