Just a tow rig FYI

Well I was driving home one day and seen 7 26 foot long U-Hauls for sale. I stopped by and asked the guy how much they were going for and they seemed reasonable. All were $2500 and below, 89' - 96'. So if any of you are looking for a tow rig U-Haul sells their trucks. U-Hauls, I think, would work great because of the floor being lower to the ground than the rest of the moving trucks. They can also pull a maintenance sheet on the truck that you want so you can see when and what has been done to them.

I thought this was probably old news but new to me. This U-Haul thing is really a great deal. I am looking at a International as well, 1k or less, crazy cheap. Rebuilt eng and tran within the past 20k miles. Its already a flat bed. The links are awesome. Great ideas. Thanks Mr. Shrek

The thing to remember about rental trucks in general, and U-Hauls in particular is that they're rode hard and put away wet. It might be a good deal, but plan on spending for a few unnoticed flaws. I'd be all over a Ryder or a Penske instead of a U-Haul.

I looked at a Penske truck and the bed comes up to my chest (I'm 5'9"). The U-Hauls bed is perfect. The guy at the U haul place said that he would print me out a rap sheet on it. Right now its just a thought. Good heads up.

Come buy it at the u-haul i work at, i get 350 out of it.
