Here is my older driving the girl next door around in her barbie jeep:

I really need to lift that thing, paint it green, and get some good tires on it

She was 3 in the picture. On her 2nd birthday I took her on the Rubicon, from the Tahoe side to Rubicon Springs. Nothing too hard in that section really, but it was my first time through too. We had more trouble keeping the mosquitos away from her along the way than we did with her getting scared, although she didn't get even one bite on her. When she was 3 she didn't like the off-camber stuff at all, but overall she did OK that day. She is a bit too wild to be in the car for any extended periods of time now days.

Long story short, most people say 3 is about the right age, I tend to agree with that.

my 6 y.o daughter and my 3 y.o son love snow wheelin'. This is a great time of the year. They're not to keen on rocks yet but they'll get there.
