its a coworkers 07 2dr jk bone stock. gets dw any speed over 50 and hitting a bump, i thought i read somewhere that its common with jk's anyone got any sugestions? im kinda clueless with jk's

The stabilizer isnt so much a recall, but a service bulletin if I remember right. It should be covered though. He should also get his wheels balanced on a road force balancer. The OEM wheels on those things go to shart pretty quick, so a balance might not even help.... new tires might be the only cure.

Balance the tires to start at least. I've had 3 JK's to date raging from mild to wild and never had any death wobble issues with them. A well aligned and balanced Jeep shouldnt even need a steering stabilizer, it will just be a mask to small issues that can turn much larger in the future. However Im not saying to remove yours, just dont plan on that being much of a fix.

I would say the ball joints as well, they are notorious for going bad. My wife has a 08 JK Sahara, so far no issues with DW but we have had all kinds of other little annoying issues with it.

JK Owners is a good forum for JK tech

Oh yea, I forgot about the ball joint issue. JK's tend to destroy ball joints pretty easy. I ened up putting Dynatrac ball joints on mine right before I got rid of it.
