"Jeep Thrills" for the Wii

got this game for xmas, anyone else play it? i was happy to see there is a waggy XJ in it :D but its so hard to drive i cant unlock the damn thing!:rof:

I got it too. I hate the wii steering. I gave up untill I get the steering wheel but I'm not sure how much that will help. Cool jeeps though.
 
Dammit, as if I didn't like the tennis, boxing, beer pong, horseshoes, lawn darts, shuffleboard and bowling games enough...now ANOTHER reason I need a Wii....

Anyone know the best place to get one online? Stores here in the desert don't seem to keep up with technology....(stupid small New Mexico town...)
 
I got it too. And J, my mom got me one for xmas by accident last year. She was shopping at target and the manager handed her and my little sister tickets to get one later that day when they came in. No lines or anything. So send your mom and little sister to target and hope for the best.
 
I got a wii too! It's just another outlet for my family's competitive-ness. We do nothing but compete in wii sports.
What's this i hear about beerpong?
 
If there is a drinking game available for the Wii that will go ahead and wrap up its "Best gaming system in the whole world" Title lol.
 
I think they buckled and changed the name to Toss Pong or some crap. Haven't played it though, not a Wii owner. I'll stick to x360 for now.
 
I GOT A WII YESTERDAY!!! :D the BX here on base had 8 of them in stock. Me and my co-worker bought 3 of them...LOL (he got one for his daughter too)

So...my arm is a bit sore today from playing tennis all night...

I saw that Jeep Thrills game yesterday, but didn't get it b/c they didn't have any steering wheels in stock...yet ;)
 
Yeah they said the name Beer Pong was too suggestive. They changed the name to Pong Toss, same idea though. Kinda reminds me of iboobs.

They shoulda just kept the name and given it an 'M' rating.
The girl asked me how old you should be to play GTA (forget which one) when she was looking for a b-day present for a nephew or some such. I told her 21. She laughed. I didn't. I think they're great games and agree that 21 may be stretching it, but not suitable for a 12 year old imho.
 
I almost bought it for my Dad... But I figured he would have more fun in his real jeep though... So i just swapped his tranny.

I was planning on doing that earlier this year, then unloading them at Christmas, But I was always on TDY when the exchange had them. The NASP exchange had them every week when I first got here and was short on change from the move and from setting up household.

the wheel wont help trust me, i borrowed one. the problem is when you turn the controller past 90° it recenters the wheel. so if you oversteer you're screwed. i wish you could just drive with the damn cross pad:bs:
 
sean whites snowboarding with the wii fit platform is actually a shit load of fun
 
the wii fit is fun in general, I played it at home during xmas, and now the wife and I will be getting one as well. If you want a bit of add hardness level, try turing the board around backwards. We started that way and it makes things much more difficult.

It also has a commanche. My son got it from santa!
 
So the final conclusion... is this game good? Would you say its worth the purchase or is it something that is just "one of those things you gotta get" as a jeep fan?
