Jeep Patriot??? What do you think of em??? (Tell me what you know..)

This New XJ look alike Jeep Patriot.. only BIG different other than name is headlights... otherwise it looks almost exactly like an XJ Cherokee... i wanna know some things that others may know... I am lookin to gettin one for the wife ya know?? i think its a cool lookin ride but i dont know much about them.. could anyone fill me in?? and i also wanna know the factory code.

The whole 4-wheel independant thing kind of disappoints me and would keep me from purchasing one if I were looking for a wheeler.

That said, they're great-looking, and nothing handles like 4-wheel independant. If I were looking for a vehicle to drive around in the snow and rain, and I didn't want a Subaru, I'd seriously consider one.

I think it looks to much like a car and not like a Jeep. Im dissapointed in Jeep, theyre selling out to what sells. I crapped my pants when I saw the FWD Compass. Why, Jeep?!?

if you want to replace or get something in the spirit of the xj ... why not get a 4 door JK wrangler with a full hard top. Thats the closest to the xj we will see for some time.

i dont know if i am the only person to notice but i saw this quote down on the thread *one above this post* from one Rev Den about 2 door drivers being better looking than 4 door.... were is the proof and why does it matter??? and who knows what about the patriot ?? people come on fill me in on the goods an the bads of the product.. and i aint that big of a fan of th new wrangler... the hard top edges are too..... cornered

it's BIGGEST shortcoming is that it's just a rebadged dodge caliber. and imo, it drives like a wet biscuit. i work with those things, and they are NOT jeeps.
