Actually I was kind of impressed, damn thing did a couple of trails I would have had problems with in my XJ. It is also not that much longer than the XJ but when the rear row of seats up there is NO storage behind them. Spare is under the rear bumper and is lowered from a ratchet mechinism thats visible when you open the tailgate. Good buffer on the DVD player too, no disruption in the movie when crawling over rocks and dragging the skids, rear sunroofs do kind of bleed out the video picture unless you pull the shades on them. The OH SHIT handles are in the wrong spot for the passenger, they are up on the A pillar instead of over the window, thats in the front, in the rear they are right where they should be. Needs a touch screen on the command LCD, makes it hard changing sirrus stations using the button along the side of the screen frame while crawling over stumps and such. Plenty of pockets for storing stuff in the doors too. With the quadradrive and big hemi you can do 0-60 real quick when going up a dirt hill, quick enough to get air when you get over the top much to my suprise which was when I discovered it had decent seatbelts too, even the camerman was impressed :laugh3: . Never been a big fan of power doors and such, too damn many buttons, I'd usually end up opening at least one more window than I intended which was annoying because it let all that nice cool air out. Also with the hemi there was no noticible 'surgeing' when the compressor would cycle. Would I spend $45K on it, nope, I'd buy two TJ's first. For a family vehicle it would be outstanding though with the 8-6-4 engine it even gets good milage. I drew mine with a full tank of gas, drove it all weekend, about 300miles, and still had a half tank left according to the gauge but then it's a jeep and we all know that their gas gauges lie alot...
