Jeep 2500 Parts... I found them here...

tuning in to see how this turns out and what shipping is, its looking like a little more expensive than a 97 newer conversion that i was gonna do, but not that much more expensive, and way way better.

I would def be interested in the frontend conv. if you guys do a group buy and the price is right im in.

on a side note has anyone tried to contact http://jdmperformance.com/ these guys do alot of jap car part importing. My friend got a whole jap acura conv from these guys a few years ago

I guess if you want to know. I'm looking at the headlights and the header/grille. I think the fenders can be trimed for the headlights and I don't need a bumper. Also maybe the taillights if there not to much more.

Sweetness, I can do that. I figure worst case scenario is $500 shipped for fenders, header, headlights, grille, and taillights.

Er...this is Beijing there Ms. South Carolina

I just heard back from Zhao again asking what the closest port to me was. I told him Boston, Portsmouth, or Portland.

I'm thinking with the sheer mass of all of this stuff that 4x4groupbuy would be the way to go, as I certainly don't have the room to store, nor the means to get this stuff from port to my house.

I stil think that sitting tight until Alexparts opens is the way to go here, although I will be curious to see what the cost on just my personal set shipped will be and I will post that when Zhao gets back to me. Alexparts on paper already has substantially better pricing, which is important to us all. If the cost goes down more with more people getting more stuff I too will order 2-3 sets of everything. I think the bumpers, mirrors, fogs, and tail lights won't be as popular, but we might as well stock up. I don't need any of that stuff as I have AJ's bumpers already and those sure as hell aren't getting removed, modded to fit the new grille yes, but taken off, hell no.

I'll e-mail Alexparts a new and COMPLETE list of parts that every one wants. Here is what I have gathered that people will be asking for:

Fenders
Header Panel (inner grille)
Outer Grille
Headlights
Mirrors
Fogs
Bumpers
Bumper End Caps
Marker Lights

Are there any parts that I am missing here? Let me know so I can be sure to include them in tomorrow e-mail to Alexparts. And perhaps give me a rough list of what YOU will order if this comes to be a reality just so I can give Alexparts a ballpark.

Thanks,

Todd

Todd,
If you are going to email him again also include flares if you would, just to see if he can get them. He doesn't have the actual bumpers themselves advertised on the site either so I don't know how to get those. Like Jeep 2500 said though, it is the Chinese New Year or what not and they didn't respond to any of my emails either, so we're still stuck waiting either way. Definitely keep us posted on Zhao and Alexparts though please :D.
Thanks,
Collin

- I'm interested in the aluminum/leather steering wheel/ airbag ASSUMING they made one with cruise control switches.
- I'm also curious about the deal with that light switch button (it's not a pull-out knob... just a button).

Forgot to say im interested in

Fenders
Header Panel (inner grille)
Outer Grille
Headlights
and possible marker lights
I just need to see prices before I def. commit

thanx,
Arminio

I just heard back from Zhao on the shipping to one of Boston's ports. It is only $95 for all of that stuff that I listed, which is less than what it would cost to order this stuff from say Califonia I bet. I've never picked anything up at a port before, anyone know how that works?
