JCR OTK STEERING

Not sure if it helps but when I did my OTK conversion I bought a pair of inserts that you weld in the knuckles. If I recall they are made by a small company that's probably out of business due to the economic times.

Someone else may chime in with the name of the company.

I got all the parts and reamer in about a month ago. I did remove all parts to ream them not that hard at all to ream. Ream some and check, ream and check. I did have to cut out the steering stabilizer and trim a lot of the spring buckets and need to trim some more. The steering is not all the way to the stops it’s hitting the springs. But I think that I will live with it. I am getting a little bump steer and a little wobble when one tire hits a bump or hole, but no death wobble.

Try McMaster Carr, or MSC tool supply. They both have a huge Machine tool invetory.

question for all you guys that recently ordered your JCR OTK...how long did it take to get?

When I ordered mine I believe it took about 2-3 weeks. As far as reamers go Snap-on was the cheapest that I could find. It was not the best, but it worked fine.
