So I received my new JCR 1/4 guards on monday and have been dragging my feet on getting them installed, so last night I finished them up and shot paint as well. Some of ya know my drivers 1/4 panel was mashed in @ 3.5 inches most the way back, well after some metal manipulation and a 5# hand sledge, everything looks good now and the 1/4 guards cover the damage  I will post up some pics before too long, the only one I have now violate the den policies...makes ya wonder just a bit doesnt it? :D

Hmm... I figured I wouldn't be able to use these since my 1/4s are pretty beat up as well, but if you got them to work maybe I can also.

No pics please, nobody wants to see your junk next to your junk :D

kind of like the naked guy taking a picture of the chrome toaster :D

My drivers side 1/4 had me concerend if it would even line up or work at all and it worked out great w/ minimal effort. I had to pound it from behind to get it to come back into shape, but it eventually came around...and so did the 1/4 panel! :D

Giggity.

I'll hopefully have a snazzy set of the taillight 1/4 guards next weekend! Post up some pics cheezman.

gonna tomorrow. When I get home after work today we have to jet to KC for the night, so tomorrow when I get home it is "post up da pics" day :D

OK, here are the pics...

The drivers side had some pretty severe 1/4 damage and I was not sure it would cover up or cause me fits during the install. We smacked out the dents from the inside and then did some "body work" with a 5# hand sledge and things worked out very well. This is what it looked like before..the pics dont do justice to how damaged it was.

I hope so, they are the nicest paint on the whole rig right now :D

Looks good Tyler.

Why didn't ya paint the back? Paint before install?

looks good Tyler.

your drivers side 1/4 panels reminds me of
my drivers side rocker. I damaged it,
then I got the rock rails.

DOH!

Thanks guys, I am pleased with how they mounted up.

Mike, I just shot them w/ some quick rattle can b/c when installed up it was a quick mock up and I thought "they need painted before I post the pics up" :D They are going to be pulled back off and get powder coated along with all the body armor on my buddies YJ that we are working on.

BOB, isn't that the way it always goes!! :D I did the same thing with my rockers and then between the rust and damage I just chopped them out and put in 2x5 steel

Those covered up Goldy well Tyler, looks like a whole different Jeep. Yellow snow will be getting a set with integrated taillight boxes soon. Thanks for the pics :D

Nice Collin! Now it sounds like you need a set of hood guards  Nice work my friend!

they are well worth the $$$ and now I feel like I need to pay more attention to the rest of the rig to try and make it look nice (yeah right, like that could happen!) :D

just fix the hood and paint that center section w/ some hammertone paint, it would be sweet.

You read my mind, time to black out the grille and bezels as well.
