So here in Pagosa Springs we haven't had any snow fall until this morning when I woke up and there was about 8"-9" on the ground! It made for a happy dog and a happy me, yeah snow gods!

Still no significant snow here. What all the tourons are skiing on is man-made.

Good to hear its finally snowing somewhere. I'm ready for some wide alberta peak floating turns, Some waterfall area powder, and some knife ridge STEEEEPS. I only make it down that way once a year, I’m jealous.

They had to quit making snow here (Aspen) cause it's getting warm again.

This year with the snow is pretty odd, theres been the cold weather but no snow! Last year I was riding backcountry in Silverton 2nd week of September and now it looks like it wont be until next year that the snow is at a comfortable level to go ride.

We should plan a snowboarding/skiing trip M&G in Monarch some point this year..

So we got over 50" of snow here since Friday. Looks like I'll be sick on wednesday for locals day at Wolfie!

Three feet here in Aspen. It was sick on Sunday.

It's just dumping here today 12/7. Nearly two feet on the mountains.

Sheesh. First we're dry, then we have too much.

The World Cup downhill was cancelled due to the snow and low visibility.
