ISO: A car dolly to borrow for a day

I have a Cherokee that is slowly morphing into a fixture of my driveway, and the neighborhood is getting somewhat antsy about it, I'm looking to borrow a car dolly to tow it to the scrap yard, or would let it go for the cost of scrap it's worth right now if someone has a use for it. As it sits, there is no drivetrain, but sits on stock axles and rollers, I'll throw in a set of XJ limited wheels and assorted other stock parts I'm just getting rid of.

With scrap costs having plummeted with no increase being forecast anytime soon, you're looking at an XJ worth about $75-$100 tops. All Recycling in Denver is paying $65/ton for whole cars currently and with yours missing a substantial part of the weight (drivetrain)......... Yuk.

Paying for it, then getting scrap barely pays for the fuel.

Sucks.

Hopefully someone in the 'Springs can help you out with that.

Exactly my sentiments, I figured I'd offer it up for someone looking for just a shell to make a cheromanche or other similar chop top, hell if it still had it's steering box, I would flat tow it just to get out of the drive way, not trying to make money on this one, but to rent a tow dolly was a loss.

Post some pics of it, might get more attention. I may be interested.

It's got some body rust, it was brought out from Michigan originally, the rockers are the worst, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with some square stock, interior was scrapped years ago and rust holes were mostly repaired with sheet metal bofore I had a welder. I have an engine trans I could throw in with it, but I was planning on holding onto them until I had time to go through and see if they were worth freshening up and running at some point.
