Installed, I have to fine tune I think the pinion angle needs to go up some. Also do you think my drive shaft is extended too far?

Here's how she sits now I also installed some longer springs while I was at it.

Here's a closer pic of how it sits in the front.

Doesn't IronMan use poly bushings?

How does it ride compared to stock rubber? I've always heard to stay away from poly on a DD rig but Andy's stuff sure looks well built and strong.

I have had his arms for about a year and a half. I couldn't tell any difference in vibrations vs stock. It still rides like crap.

To OP, make sure you paint the threads once you get your pinion angle dialed in. It won't take long for rust to damage the threads.

Why does he not use flex joints?

He uses the johnny joints as an upgrade. And the poly bushings is probably to keep the price of them down. He said that's his main goal is to keep his prices for low budget builders he even went as far as to move his shop out in the woods when he outgrew his other to keep prices down.

Anyone know if he offers a discount for NAXJA members?

Call and ask. Andy is a good guy. He was the one that help me with my build. My cage and my long arms he built with me.

Ive been waiting till the end of the month, ive been looking at the upper and lower package, jonezer12 says still rides like crap, jamescad04 you say good things, but is the bang worth the buck. I dont expect a great, shoot, even a good ride, but i would like a better ride.

How far forward did you push the axle?

Longer short arms in the factory mounts will sometimes yield a better ride but the only way to get the ride quality back is a control arm drop.

The harsh ride come from the angle of the control arms. At factory height with factory arms, they are nearly level so when you hit a bump the arms move up and down. With lift the arms a pointing down so when you hit a bump they try to shove back first, which transmits shock to the jeep and everyone in it.

Lowering the control arm mounting point will allow you to get closer to level on the arms and allow the axle to move more freely up and down rather that trying to push back. Long arms would also have the same result.

I'm sitting at 6.5 inches of lift with dropped control arms, and she rides like a factory cherokee.

I said there was no difference in ride. While poly bushing may transmit a little more vibration I think that is different than actual ride quality.
If you are worreid about ride quality you should be focusing on your shocks, control arm angle and springrate. Rubber vs poly bushings is meaningless in comparison to those items.

I have seen Andy's shop and met with him personally. He is a super great guy and I would recommend his parts to any of my customers any day.

I'm jealous. He's been trying to get me to come up for a while now. LOL!

Talked to Andy and ordered my arms today. Super nice guy. Looking forward to getting my caster closer to spec, with a minor shift forward.
