hello, i just bought a 91 cherokee 5 speed with 95k. im in the process of putting a new head gasket on it. i have no pics of the jeep but i will post them soon. my plans are 4.5 lift and 33's. i know jeep guys are all about fabrication so hopefully i will fit in lol

i also like mini trucks. i have 01 doge dakota with bags, its not finished yet but it will be soon, here are some pics of my work

Do you work for an auto parts store in Lansdale? We may have met. . . I was driving my girlfriends maroon '01 lifted pretty high w/ 33 mudders when such event may have occurred.

Lots of Cherokees to be found at good prices. I picked up a 92 a few years ago for $2000 and a 98 last year for $2500, both with rebuilt engines. They both needed a little love, and the 92 is very hungry for upgrades, but I like them both.

Nope don't work at an auto parts store, I work for a paper comany in Allentown and go to school up in Schnecksville. I am however constantly at the auto parts stores in Quakertown. I have an offer in for a 1998 cherokee but im battling someone else for it. I am practically living here, pirate4x4, ebay and craigslist...and a couple others.

I have a 2000 XJ now and have owned 4 others previously. And in all that time haven't even been on a trail ride yet (all stock / or nearly stock)

Hopefully that will change soon.

As for specs:
Drivetrain - 6cyl 4L, 4sp Auto, 4:11 gears, shortened Ford 9" with detroit locker, slip yoke eliminator
Lift- Rusty's 4.5" with 2" Skyjacker coil spacers (front) 2" lift shackles (rear)
Body - Cut Fenders and lower rear quarter tuck, 2x4x3/16 rectangular rockers with 1.75x0.120 sliders (not pictured)
Wheels & Tires - 33x10.50 Mud Kings on 16x8 cragar soft 8s

I've been to Paragon (now defunct?) as a passenger (didn't own a jeep). Otherwise there is an old abandoned mass of land about 5 miles from my house that is a decent place to play around.

Anything good down the Williamsport way?

Hi. name's Rick, I live in Winchester, VA..
This is my 2nd XJ. My First was a 96 Country, that ultimately ended up with 35s, 8" RE suspension, Rocksliders, ARB front w/9K winch, custom rear bumper, rear mounted spare, roof basket, rock lights, 4.56s, Powertrax lockers, Tom Woods SYE and shafts, SB Discos, Revolvers, etc..


This one is slowly coming along.. It's a 96 Sport.. 6" RC lift, stock wheels, 33/12.50 Trailcutter MTs, stock gears (for now), and a ratty-looking front bumper bar.. It'll be coming off, and replaced with an ARB soon.. AFTER gears and lockers, though..

I used to have a samurai hardtop on 12" custom lift, 15x38s, lockers, gears, 4:1 tcase, 6K Warn, yadda yadda..

ive had about 10 different offroad rigs: 3 YJs, a tj, an xj, a toyota pickup, a toyota 4runner.

but i had been in the market for a new rig that can hold 4 people is cheap and i can DD so i am getting ready to pick this up this week.

im pretty excited about owning an XJ again i loved the one i used to have till i rolled it :hang:

Hey all. Im Eric from NH. Just recently cracked up my STi and bought a 97 sport to get to work. Once the cars fixed I can start focusing on the xj build!

bought her with 170k miles. Has 3" BDS lift, JKS diso's, 31" BFG AT nothin special yet.
