Introduce yourself

Hi there NAXJA,
I come from a far website called Cherokeeforum and decided to join here as well. My XJ is a 1988 Laredo 2 door with all the accessories and skid plates. Since I've had it some four years ago I have lifted it with a Rusty's 3.5"s with RE superflex lowers, added the 31" duratracs over the winter, solid d35 cover (polishing the turd), picked up some sweet turbines, and added a factory carrier. Future plans are to add some new shocks and BPEs while working on anything else I feel like getting serious with. I live in DE at the moment but am from NJ and go to school in PA out by Pittsburgh at IUP. Always looking forward to meeting other XJ lovers and having fun on a trail or two. I've heard from CF that the community here is great so I'm looking forward to being apart of it.

Hello All, Dave from DE here. I've had my 98 XJ for a while now. It is mostly stock but I plan to change that asap. Good to see there is a NAC for XJ owners. Hope to meet some of ya'll soon at some events.

Re: Re: Introduce yourself

damn that things is CLEAN. i love that color with the gray wheels.
Lol. Thanks. I had just removed the striping and decals then washed n waxed it with cleaner wax to get all the marks off of it. I keep wax on it as it is on the beach a lot. The gray wheels will prolly be changed tho.

I do have plans for it. Lift, tires, skid plates, rock sliders, winch, front and rear bumpers and a roof rack. I want to eventually take it on some trails.
So that will make for an excellent before pic. Lol.

nifty. I want 37s...

Howdy - I'm Rob in Lubbock, TX but am about to move to Corpus Christi, TX.

I bought my first Jeep Thursday night. Its a 98 XJ Sport with 105,000 miles. I love it. It's pretty much stock... I've got to wet sand the clear coat and replace it. There are some minor leaks that will be worked on soon. I am proud to be in the family!

Welcome rob.....there is a Texas specific chapter on Naxja that might be of more help than us Yankee assjoles

Hello y'all, the name is Neal, I'm from west chester pa. Some of you may know me from CherokeeForum... Lowrange2 told me to come and join Naxja so here I am.

Hi folks,

I've actually been a member here for a while but I don't think I ever really introduced myself and participation in the forums has been a bit hit or miss. Anyway, here is a link to the XJ page on my website:

Although the photos show the Jeep in the showroom at our store, it's actually my all-weather daily driver. The spot it was in when photographed is where my '67 Mercury Cougar is usually parked as an in-store display.
