Been setting up a computer network and computers for a new auto repair facility here and spent saturday with the sun tech rep with him coaching me as I installed their shopkey and other software and as he was setting up all the new new stuff they have. Cooling system flusher, engine oil flusher, brake system flusher, tranny flusher, Fuel injection flusher and got to see them all work. Going to see them all work again on MY XJ, they were happy with my stuff Soooo I get a pretty much free cooling, FI, brake thing this week hopefully, may have to pay for the materials but thats OK. It was really something watching the stuff come out of an oil flush they did on a 4.0WJ with about 30K miles on it. The owner switched to Mobil-1 after that :D

Oh yes, the wonderful world of "Profit Flushing". The dealer I work at has a flush for everything too. Not real fond of them for the most part. I do like the transmission flush, but not those damned chemicals they sell you with the service. We had some techs not flushing all of the cleaner chemical out and having torque converter shudder, and shift problems after service that required costly repairs. We have stopped the trans flushes now but still do all the others.

Flush away all your problems, only at your local Jeep dealer....:D

Yea, I agree and so does he, only the oil flush and the injector flush gets cleaner. He uses the tranny for fluid changes only and the same with the cooling systems. We both were in agreement that if it takes 5 years to build up 20 min is not going to get rid of it in the cooling system. He's draining mine tomorrow and refilling with water so I can add my 7 hour flush, then I'll drive for the next two or three days where he will pull it back out and push my mopar 50/50 mix of distilled water/mopar coolant back in. I like cause it does not leak a drop of coolant and he recycles it.
