Had Goose Island Honker's Ale with lunch... its hop-a-licous.

Back to the neverending lift project. Got the back shoes changed and some used but nice drums on it(Thanks Gil). Got the first bleeder out with a problem. put the vacuum pump on that side and fluid came out of the frame /flex line junction. Damn!!!

Got the rear half of the lift finished, except the broken brake line and bleeding the brakes.

Thanks to Matt, for selling the lift to me
Thanks to Rocketman,for the shocks.
And to Rev, and the Asshat for the parts train.

life is good gentleman.
Wife said she would buy me a compressor today.
So off we went, came home with a 26 gallon vertical devilbliss. Something like 8.6 CFM@40 and 5 something@90.
Grabbed the impact, air ratchet, cut off tool and a little sande since I'm doing body work on the rockers this weekend.
My wife is pretty f'in cool.

Well, I got the heep mostly ready for Moab today. Went to the U-pull-it looking for a pass. mirror bracket intending to just stick my mirror back on, but found a 91 Limited (mostly in better shape than mine) and grabbed the electric mirror, too.

So, I probably won't be driving over my tool box when I back into the garage, anymore :D

Also found a side marker light to replace the one some Mercedes driving bimbo wiped out the side of her ML on, when she cut across 4 lanes in front of the toll plaza :dunce:

Picked up a needle for my grease gun to grease the CTMs, greased the rest of the front end, adjusted the control arms, set up the new compressor with Co2 back up for the ARB.

Then I tackled the catalytic converter, which I had noticed was in poor shape after I ripped off and drove over my muffler down in Clayton. I thought the new flowmaster 50 seemed rather quiet and restrictive, but after I sawzalled the cat off, the problem was obvious...

Also discovered that when you misplace your tailpipe expander, a cheap harbor freight 3/4" socket set and a sledgehammer will also work.

Not Miller time
