I have the same lockers front and rear, had them in for about a year and a handful of hard wheeling trips with no issues.

I have no idea which plant produces which products from the product line. The only idea I have right now is that Chicago does smaller stuff and contract manufacturing, the Dixon plant makes larger and longer stuff.

Dixon but yes I start there Monday. You have more info about the Pioneer Village stuff than I do. I only know what Google turned up, which was some articles about it falling apart due to the lack of visitors and a bad website about the place.

Have any of you guys welded a D30 coil bucket? I think im gonna pick one up that has the passenger side rusted out, but 4.10s. Planned on just getting a new bucket, dropping off at welding shop and having them weld the new one back on. Only thing that worries me is track bar bracket lining up

Or you could pull the guts out of the axle and put them in yours. Personally if my current housing was in good shape I would just swap the gears instead of having a new bucket put on. If it's rusty there it's going to be rusty elsewhere.

This is what i was looking to use if the housing is in good shape. If not, ill just pull the gears and carrier, and take it to my buddys shop to swap it in. Good time to do my U-Joints too, drivers side is starting to make noise

You can get a rear 60, put perches on it, shorten it and shave the diff and probably still be cheaper than a jk axle.
