I'm just pissed that they use all the balsa for the blades.

made good balsa for planes hard to come by and 10 times what it should cost.

its not to bad. i mean anything that spills or falls out would likely fall on the pad below. then i would have to clean it up. it is dirty up there though. i mean it is a big has generator with lots of oils for lots of parts.
i thought it was interesting the amount of cleaning including bringing a shop vac 300ft in the air. then i remembered the is no janitorial service up there:spin1:

i snapped a bunch of pics if anyone is interested.

this is general pics from inside the nacelle

Leaving tomorrow morning, 8 or so.

I'm jealous of all you going down to Harlan. Maybe next year we will try again to go wheeling down there

I started and moved my XJ for the first time in a month or so today..... I really need to order the part I bent (anyone have a V8 ZJ drag link they want to sell?) so I can take mine off road again. Having the motorcycle in summer takes away the itch to drive the XJ. Had a cooler of water bottles from May I finally took out of it also.

Black housing headlights on the DD/Tow Rig today..

Parents ran over a big piece of metal covered in plaster that fell off a construction truck. 8k in damage. Transmission, crossmember, motor mount, cat, mid pipe, and part of the body all damaged.

Were they able to see the truck that did it or was it just in the middle of the road for a long time? If they seen who did it, I would be filing a claim with the trucks owner.

They didn't get the name off the truck that was the first thing I asked when they called. They were headed to Virginia and it happened around Cincinnati. I'm just glad it didn't bounce high enough to get over the hood!

More than likely insurance will total it out.
