No and it won't work on an XJ. They are different. A V8 ZJ tie rod is an "upgrade" to an XJ due to it being solid.

So I'm an Asshole. there is an older guy here that tries to "give me a hard time" by saying he loves my wife. A couple months Ago he asked what her middle name was, i told her it was Jane. just so i can watch him walk around and say "i love Mary Jane". he has been doing that for a couple months now, today he asked how is our Mary Jane doing. I told him she had a fever and was burning up... he is now "giving me a hard time" by walking around saying Mary Jane is burning up.

So, the kid up the road is a senior in H.S. he has a very used two door XJ on a trailer in his yard. It is decorated in the neighboring H.S. school's colors. I do not know if it was used in some kind of senior prank or what. It is sitting on a trailer the body is about as rough as mine was before the roll. I am going to find out the deal on it, it might end up here...

Do the seals on both side while you have it apart.
If the other side is not bad now it will be by the time you get the axle out.
If you have vacuum disconnects replace those seals also.
I did the Ftwofiddy last fall and it was $800 in parts.
