Important

I thought about that. Don't know how hard it would be tho. Plus we are probably borrowing her dad's trailer again so don't know if he would want me putting a hitch on it. May have to look into it

I'd get a hold of JR.

The EX won't have a problem with it.

Yea in sure we will have plenty of room. Just need to make it comfy enough for wife. If we had a way we would bring the pop up with us but can't pull it and jeep at same time.

We thought about switching to this since I think we will be hauling the jeep to WF behind whatever we buy for her. The ol ford's front end has seen better days and I need to get may lazy arse on doing that swap. But with the boys there just wont be enough room. Plus the hotel is cheap when Empire pays for half.

You know you want to do it!

****ing Ruffstuff. i ordered this tie rod from them because its their kit im putting it on. and when i ordered the kit it came in like 3 days. ordered the tie rod Saturday, just got a tracking number today saying it shipped out yesterday. and the damn thing wont be here till tuesday! times like this i wish the jeep wasn't a DD...

rant: off back to your normally scheduled shenanigans. ( . )( . )

They sell tie rod ends at advance auto...

Well I think we have changed what we are staying in at wf. Instead of driving jeep down with camper in tow, we are just gonna tow jeep down and sleep in excursion. Excursion may be about the same size as the camper anyhow

Sleeping in the back isn't bad. It's just that you can't really do anything else like with a camper, there's nowhere to hang out, make food, watch TV, change clothes, you can't stand up, etc.

We never spent a lot of time in the camper when I had it anyway, since we don't really go camping other than wheeling trips.

Plus you just bought this thing... you better use it!

The pass side tie rod has a tapered hole for the drag link. And I also have the new weld in threaded bung thingy coming.

Im a shitty parts guy anyway...

A couple of pop-up with sides help with the no room to stand and change when sleeping in the back of a rig. Wish I had a pic from last wheeling trip. I have 2 10x10s, one gets put half over the back of the XL then the other put behind it. We put the sides up and it's awesome. Plus I always camp next to buddy's that have 2 pop ups so our camp site is is pop up city, maybe 8-10 of them.

Yeah that's a normally stocked part. I forget the part number off the top of my head. Use the same reamer you used on your knuckles.

I got bung thingys. Shoulda asked!!!! :p

Going to look at a 04 Yukon XL tonight, very clean with no rust. Has 211,000 miles but the price is right.

k "priced out 5.3's just in case" man

I'd be more worried about the trans than the motor to be honest. However if it's been rebuilt, and rebuilt with the right parts as long as it hasn't gotten hot you should be good to go. I'd take a seroius look for a 2500 though. The 6.0 doesn't get that much worse in the mileage dpt, and the drivetrain is stronger. That being said there are things than can be done to the 1500s to help with the go, and the woe...

K "asking S4,500" man

It is clean looking, and priced right. I paid $3500 for my 04 Z71 Hoe with 220K on it.

The RPO sticker inside the glove box door will tell you exactly how it's optioned.

Thanks for that info.

I bought it paid 4k. Dude would not go lower than that. I tried really hard to get him to take 3800.

You have any experience changing the rear air shock crap to non air shock crap?
