Drove up from Chicago burbs to Milwaukee yeaterday. My buddys forester almost killed us a few times, yet i was still impressed with it. Sad reality kicked in this morning that i have to find a shovel soon
I bought a new skidsteer last year....I won't scoop a bit with a shovel. I am going to build a door for it and it will get some plexiglass windows. I installed a heater already. I am thinking about a stereo too.
I have an 86 K10 for the driveway. Only problem is I broke the rear brake line when I was moving it around yesterday... other then that it has been pretty reliable because it gets less then a mile each year, haha
Back to work tomorrow after 3 weeks of vacation, it is going to be rough!
Our one neighbor has a nice snowblower like Mac's, he offered to help a few times last year, and the daughter's friend's husband plows the other neighbors drive, he offered to do ours for a beer, I said no thanks, need my workout.
But work was slow last year, been really busy this year so I don't need more exercise.
This year, I just have to make it to February 23rd, I don't care how much it snows after that.
anyone here with an 00-01 ever have a issue with a miss caused by the coil rail? i know about the misfires caused by the injector with a hot engine, but my xj has developed a miss thats pretty noticeable now. it seemed fairly faint at first but now it seems worse . hasn't thrown a code yet, but i have heard that there is sometimes an issue with bad contact on cylinder 3 in the rail...just curious if anyone else has dealt with this. i know its not an injector because mine were replaced (not for that reason) and it was still there after. i don't think it would be a valve issue since this motor was rebuilt and the head only has 50k or so on it after a being completely rebuilt. i guess i can swap the rail in from the wj and see if it helps.
