Important

My neighbor has a plow and does my driveway...when he can and when his truck/plow setup isn't broke.

I had to shovel too many times last year...while his stuff was broke...and he didn't bother to text me and tell me that it was broke.

mac 'prepared now' gyvr

I plow my lot, mom's and dad's driveways. I hope to have a V-blade next winter on a short wb vehicle, tired of the old straight blade on a long box Chevy.

I've been looking for a plow truck and/or a swb truck and blade for a while. But they seem to be worth gold. A $700 snow blower was cheaper and perhaps more reliable.

My dad just fixed their snow blower, so they should be good.

mac 'and it hasn't snowed since' gyvr

This was my problem last night. Rad blew in the ol chev. Thank god for 4WD

if anyone is seriously interested in a snowplow set up, feel free to scour the ads up here (chautauqua craigslist as well as buffalo/erie) being in the snow belt means there are always about nine billion plows for sale. some are pretty cheap. almost bought a whole chevy 2500 with a 6.0 and a plow for $2500 a while back but the guy sold it before i could get to it

I was offered a 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 5.9L Gas V8 for my XJ. It looks good from the outside, he says the interior is perfect (minus the cracked dash).

I think I may take him up on the offer. And then get some cash selling my 96 Chevy 1500.

I need a Ram truck in my life again!

wheelin and dealing on xj's today....

might be trading a locker and some coil springs for a lifted xj that needs a head gasket. don't want to get rid of the locker, but the jeep is worth a lot more than the locker itself

Look up what those trucks are selling for...

mac 'worth a lot less than you think' gyvr

ok...may as well throw it out there...$500 standing offer on Yhon's rig :D

I already offered that...

mac 'tho is was technically b4 it was officially forsale' gyvr

If I didn't have the car lot I would not have a plow truck.

I got ooffered a 99-00 WJ with a blown v8 over the weekend for $250 but with working MJ it wasn't worth the headache of getting it.

sounds like a horrible trade...

wanna trade XJ's lol :D

No plan for the snow again this year. I have debated between a plow and a snowblower for the last 3 winters. My drive is about 200' long and gravel, I had a guy plow it last year and spent all spring picking gravel out of my grass. I have debated building something like this to hang off the front of one of the Jeeps.

It just floats over everything so allegedly pretty easy on gravel, can't backdrag with it but I could probably work around that.
