You do have the cam driven wheels. You can convert it to single pulley. If you scrap it, save the gearbox from the auger please. They are no longer available and petty much the only thing that I can't replace on mine.

How do I covert to a single pulley?

I was trying to loosen my belt to replace my alternator, but the pulley wasn't moving. I did notice the bolt that the pulley is attached to was coming out. Is it supposed to do that?

I did get my trailer light harness in and got my cb antenna wire ran through the body versus through the gate.

Not really sure what you are asking. Can't picture it. You have to loosen the nut on the tension pulley. If you did that then its probably rusted to the adjuster in the back. Pb blaster it or torch it

Are you saying that the bolt that adjusts the tension on the pulley is backing out? No, it's not supposed to do that. Cubbetm has it right, you need to loosen the bolt that attaches the idler pulley from the front, you might need to remove the e-fan to get to it. The head of the adjusting bolt should never move, only the pulley should slide back and forth. If it won't budge, hit it with a hammer.

you'll have to get a double pulley for the crank, then flip the friction wheel on the axle so your forward/backward lever works propery.

this is exactly what you need to do

Have you loosened the bracket hold down bolts?
you'll just back the bolt out of the tensioner bock if you've not loosened all the bracket bolts.
what are ther eon the late model? Three? The two on top and the bolt that holds the block?

hell, I don't know, just take the damned thing off.

I just did 5 states and 700 miles in 10 hours. It's a little thing I like to call rental car rally. Ask me sometime what the limiter is set to in a versa.

Yea there is a bolt in the center of the idler pulley, 15mm I believe. You can get it with a wrench usually. If you don't loosen that the adjuster bolt just backs out. I never tighten the belt enough the first time and when I turn on my AC the belt squeals.

funny, I always overtighten them.

I have a habit of replacing alternators after doing belts.

It's a 15mm...I always use the 12 point side of a combo wrench because it has enough bend to not pull the efan. ..if my fat arms can get in there, yours can

I didn't loosen the nut on the pulley, hopefully I can get that bolt back I or if I don't, it will be fine. I might try to work on it tomorrow (or wait until later in the week when it is colder and stage Christmas lights outside tomorrow). I was trying to get the efan off but I couldn't get those boots off.

Anybody know where to get replacement center caps for rims? Looking for one for our xj limited rims. Also looking for an extra rim so I can put them on the zj. Here is the type of rim I'm looking for.

The correct center cap for the Icons is about 1-15/16" diameter, kinda hard to come by. The Icons I just picked up had 2-1/8" ones that were common on the later ZJs. You can find both on Ebay, but I think they're overpriced for a little piece of plastic. I would like to find a couple more of the rims, to have matching spares on my 96 and the wife's 98, so if you find some let me know. Haven't seen any on C-list since I bought mine.

Just called on a set of 4 Icons near me for a reasonable price, possible trade for other parts, looks like they have the correct center caps.

Craigslist, we'll see if I get any response...

Wasn't he standing right next to you when you was sitting there replacing my belt that one day? Haha. I didn't know about the idler pulley bolt needing to be loosened until you told me, my last jeep must of just not had a tight idler pulley bolt

^I spent about 2 hrs on my yard today, 2 hrs last week and will have another 2-4 hrs in a couple more weeks
