Important

Generic answer... for #2 wire, run a 100 amp fuse. That is small enough to protect the wire and I can't imagine your sub pulling more than that. If it does then you need bigger wire anyway.

It must be hell to get old, maybe a hearing aid is cheaper/easier than bigger speakers :)

Installing buddies steering system, anyone know off hand the distance ctr-ctr of the steering knuckles? Just need to get it ball park...

Re: Re: Important

Have to have a fuse that is less than watt (pun intended) the amp and wire will burn up at...

And I know the general rule. My 2g wire is overkill for the amps, but if I ever pull the system and move my battery to the back, I have the wire.

I know you need to protect the wire (root of my question), and protect the equipment. The equipment has its own protection/fuses.
Koop would be sad. Brennen too.
Koop was sad when I sold mine.

Have been thinking alot about parting out the rig. I've used it once so far this year. But it doesn't cost me anything besides $30 a month in insurance and $70ish a year for plates and 4 dead spots of grass beside my garage.
