Doing an arb install on a Nissan ifs front. 8.66" ring gear. 1.5" shafts.

On the late models the RKE is in the dome light and they can not be programmed without hooking them up to the scanner tool thing the dealer has.
For $50 they will program as many as you have at the stealership.

I am not sure if they all had it but I haven't seen any late models without it so far, If you pull your dome It will be the green board in there at the rear of the housing.

They can be hard to find if you want one with a matched fob already and aftermarket ones can be added cheaply that would likely work better. I went out of my way to replace mine so I could have the Jeep keyfob because Im' Ocd.
 
That is the RKE board .. I have noticed some have that wire receiver you see on the left side and unless im crazy they have slightly better range than the ones without.

I have had a hard time finding them, that is about double what I thought they were worth but I bet someone will pay it.
 
the ones with the wire will have beter range.

he wire is an antenna soldered to the board. Don't clip it or alter it's length. Length=tuning.
 
I have one for the 5.9...i have another one that I would like to have programmed to the 5.9...

I hope they aren't dealer only programming.
