Important

You know what I am done here, you guys can bicker and complain... I just have to decide how I want to continue our sponsorship from here on out... Its not worth me stressing and having a heart attack over a $20 hardware pack.

Dan even says nice things about IRO. ;)

*goes back to web wheeling*

I like IRO.

Which is why I didn't even price any other lift kits for later this year when I lift my XJ. I bought a bumper off of Logan's Metal Products, on the website it asked if I wanted a hardware kit. They had it shipped on Friday and in my house by Tuesday. Still waiting on rear bumper tie in's from Ares who supposedly shipped it 10 days ago (to their credit, I sent an email shortly after posting this and they have responded saying they did send the brackets and will send another set). I will support NAXJA vendors over other vendors any day of the week and eventually I will want armor, guess I know where I am not ordering from. The guy from Ares actually apologized about me not getting it (don't know what is happening with the rear bumper tie ins, but no big deal as I haven't painted the bumpers yet {shooting for Memorial day weekend}).

I bet Dan thought the same thing. You lost a customer over a hardware pack marked up to $20.

And now you're going to lose a bunch more. I like Dan a lot more than I like your arrogant ass. I bet some other MWC folks would agree.

and another makes the list.

and I'd been biting my tongue.
Shall I join in this mess?

naw, I think not. I've got enough people to tell off today, no reason to add one more.

maybe im on the other side of the fence on this, but it says right on the item page that the hardware is extra. doesnt matter what has been purchased before, it is clearly stated on their site. if i ordered something, assuming that it came with hardware and didnt. i would immediately bite my tongue once i saw it was an extra fee on the site....

On the website it says that hardware is extra, but if calling, the person answering the phone might not make it known it is needed. If I had just looked at the flyer posted, then I would assume it was included.

so brianho comes to Ohio, finds himself smack dab in tornado warnings and hail storm.

just normal Ohio springtime.

You might be on to something there Mac. A tablet holder for the shopping carts.

I went to a grocery store somewhere that had a tablet like device attached to the cart. As you went up and down the aisles it would show you the items on sale and commercials for the items in the aisle.

This is a quote from Dirtbound website. I copied this dirtctly from their website a week ago.

"Comes with Button Head bolts, installs using Rivit Nuts using the included tool so interior panels do not need to be removed to install".

I agree that it NOW says it's extra.

Don't know. I do know their customer service sucks and he needs business classes. It would also help if he had someone answer the phone instead of his voicemail saying to email him. It's hard to communicate with people who don't communicate. Even with any issues that Rustys may have had in the past, any given day I can call and talk to Rusty in person, the same thing with IRO, I can ask for Josh and talk to him personally. I have never heard a live voice from Dirtbound to let me know they're not shipping my order when it was expected, or if I had any questions about their product, or a call to let me know I may have misunderstood what I was ordering. The only "personal" conversation I've had with him is here in the Important thread. If he had the extra time to search his name on naxja to see what kind of dirt was being said, he certainly had the time to pick up the phone and try to make things right with his customer, instead he comes here and bashes all of his naxja customers and insures that he will never see any more of my money, and he won't see many of the other members money either.

For the record, I spent over $15,000 on my jeep over the past year, 99% of that money was to naxja vendors. None of them were ever rude to me and I spoke to every one of them on the phone.
