Important

I would like to put 456's in our Jeep but it's just not on the cards this year. I know a lot of people don't believe we get the mileage we say we do but it's true. We really do have a "freak of nature" with this Jeep. It just keeps surprising me.

I don't doubt your mileage. Drivability is a whole different issue. I rode around with 33's and 3.55's. Never really noticed a mileage hit. Swapped in 4.56's and immediately noticed how much nicer it was to drive.

It gets the job done, but it's not something I would plan to. You guys know what you need, you just can't make it happen yet. TH doesn't know what he needs and telling him that it's an ideal gear combination will lead him in the wrong direction.

Yea I am anxious to see it after we eventually get gears done in it. It doesn't do to bad right now but it still could be better.

FINALLY!
After parts not getting shipped, wrong parts in the kit, parts getting shipped back and forth between distribution centers, and working on it on my spare time, the 4R100 is finally done!

Got Fluids? Never again will I open up more than one system at a time...

That's all a giant mind**** at first but some complex math with phasors and j and omega means no second and third order differential equations to solve means I can be a happy lazy EE :D
.

when your teacher has it mastered and teaches it so quickly it can bring the suck. luckily yesterday he could see the "deer in headlights" look on all of our faces and he did a bunch of examples.

I am not sure if i mentioned it here but my tuesday night class(basic circuit analysis)I am struggling a bit in. I have gotten a couple of C's in classes before but never a low D, which is what i have in this class.

how can you scare me even more? teach tells the class that everything up until this point should have been pretty simple and the hard stuff is coming now:shocked:

then he went into last nights lecture:helpme:

oddly enough i got it more than i have got anything thus far.
not sure why:banghead:

just for fun, because i know some of the nerds in here love it, here are last night notes

at this point i have fingers crossed on passing this class, so i can continue on to semiconductors, which i have been told is the much harder version of this class...

Don't go by what your numerical number is to think you have a low d....odds are there is a curve, so you might just have a regular d.

true. he is also going to drop off the lowest test grade and we did not have a midterm lab so that currently says 0 and that should be cleared off.

either way im sure i dont have a C. i just have to put everything i have into getting a C.

Good news is i have an A in my ac/dc motors class, so i dont need to really "worry" about that while i try and fix the D

6 classes left to do it in.

i am a bit excited about summer classes. i am taking "national code and wiring". it will be the 1st class that i get to stop messing with these stupid ass resistors, inductors, capacitors, digital chips, and all these tiny wires getting plugged into tiny holes:mad: NAC should be more "how to wire your house" type stuff.

you don't know how much it sucks to be going to school for electrical technology and have to have my electrician buddy wire up my bathroom!

i am also excited because this class should give me the skill to wire up my 2nd garage with power. right now there is now power back there and i was close last summer to dropping big bucks on it. i just happen to ask one of the teachers about it a couple weeks ago and he said by the time im done with NAC i can do it by myself....WIN!....

will be the 1st thing school pays itself for

Yup, I sent a student to pick it up from the dealership this morning. Trans is already mated up to the block and getting bolted down.

I like it when student volunteer for these jobs. The three working on it now are def the guys I'll see in 2-5 years working on the big diesels.
