Important

It's a gray area in Mi. I kept part of the vehicle code and an email from my cousin (county sheriff's deputy) in the glove box in case I got pulled over. Drove all over the state for two summers and never got pulled over. Now that I'm moving I need to look it up again and print some stuff off to cover my ass if I do get pulled over.

Still at bmv, the system doesn't want to charge me sales tax on the camper but they are hell bent on collecting.....woman has been on phone for 10 minutes

Shit,i have to get the coop done. temp plates expired a couple days ago.

Priced my lift, just about exactly how much I thought it would cost ($850). Now to save up about 2k for the lift and tires (will I need new rims for 32's?).

The treadwrights arrived today. Pretty nice looking tire. I just have to take them to get mounted and balanced. 80psi cold though has me a touch worried about how they are gonn aride.

Can I get 33's with a 4" lift? I haven't ruled out 31's either.

you can put 33's on with no lift...it just depends of if you want to trim your fenders or not. if you are going 33's you will probably want new gears too. 31's with stock gears are okay.

you will want new rims with less backspacing if you are running 33x12.50's...but with 31x10.50's or 33x10.50's you can use stock wheels.

my advice....get the 4" lift new, then find a used set of 31x10.50's on craigslist. run them until you can save enough money to do gears, then trim your fenders a little and step up to 33's. my xj with 33's and stock gears is an absolute dog and gets horrid milage. i will be putting 4.56's in it over the summer.

was supposed to look at this mj today, but i got stood up

but the guy stood me up...he was pretty apologetic, but i'm not sure what happened. he wants me to try to come back on thursday or friday. hopefully that will give me a little bargaining power. its also been on clist for a while. i have an 88 right now thats basically a shell, but rather than paying to trailer it behind a truck, i decided a while back to try to sell it and find one that runs and drives...this may be the one. the guy claims it has no rust, and it looks pretty good in pics. he wants more than i want to spend, but it will be a "this is how much i will pay or else i walk" sort of deal. if he bites, ill drive it home...if not, then i'll keep looking. i need a truck fairly soon whether its an mj or a fullsize for starting on home renovations...

In case you were wondering....it costs $751.06 to lose a fight to a chair in Attica. :D

I would like to put 456's in our Jeep but it's just not on the cards this year. I know a lot of people don't believe we get the mileage we say we do but it's true. We really do have a "freak of nature" with this Jeep. It just keeps surprising me.
