Important

It is not very hard to tell if a motor is locked up. Put along breaker bar and socket on the nut at the end of the crank and see if you can turn it.

Its not very hard to install a hitch either :flame:

:D

I have not had time to even do this yet. I have had many family things going on (Grandma moved into assisted living facility last weekend). I have also been helping to finish with the major wedding stuff. If I don't have someone get to it by next weekend, I may try to find that bolt that is probably hidden in the engine compartment somewhere with all they squished in there. Today was the first time I have had an hour to sit and relax for a long time.

Just got done helping jimbo rebuild his dana 300, one set screw made what would have taken a 3-4 hr job take about 6.

instead of working, he is jacking around getting ready for WF

Hack-n-tapping on the clock

its how us quality Ford parts guys roll!

looks much more enjoyable than doing it under the vehicle... though doing the cutting with it in was SUPER simple.

never being cheap and hacking/tapping again. probably never doing a real SYE either. i really want a 231/300 doubler.

anyone got a stock frame side track bar bracket laying around thats bound for the scrap yard? i want one so i can make a bracket for my weld on ruffstuff bracket... just need it to replicate the bolt pattern.

How soon do you need it? I will be pulling mine to put a TNT bracket on hopefully in the next few weeks..

Should a bought a real diesel.
Nothing wrong with the motor or trans (except for not having a turbo), just lots of stuff wrong with the piece of shit ford theyre wrapped in.

But, its the same as my jeep. That thing was a major POS when I bought it and with lots of time, money, and work its pretty decent now. I still plan on longarms and other goodies now that its not a DD though.

Im thinking it needs a d60, ~2" lift, and maybe Ill make use of that SAE2 6bt... Or Dt360.... Or dt466... Hmm....

I just got offered a pair of $400+ 4th row 40 yard line tickets for the Packer game for $100 each. I think I might try to brave the -40° windchill just to say I did it..

I went to a football game that was negative 15 to negative 20 windchill, it was brutal. I would be waaaay more prepare today if I were to do it again. After wheeling a no body / no windshield rig at wf multiple times I have pretty good cold weather gear.
