Re: Re: Important

Getting cold won't hurt it, but moisture will. Talk Trixie into letting you keep it in the living room.

The "garage"was in the kitchen for a year and a half. Then my lift was in the spare bedroom for a couple months. Livingroom no, spare bedroom I'm completely ok with. :)

Re: Re: Important

Changed the filter and most if the fluid thus summer. I'm going to drain the pan again today and top it off.

I was thinking the tcu might be the issue.
The red one?
Any Trans codes?
TC unlock in in OD is like a 250 rpm change iirc.

Get an analog meter and check for flat spots in the tps curve.

I doubt its.TCU... Does your SIL still have my 97 TCU? Could try it...

Could be a solenoid or short in the wiring to a solenoid too.

Mo love for Flo...

I was wondering the same thing. Seems like a waste of time for a 242 or 231. You guys may want to think about your shift linkage also. The stock transfer case linkage is a mess. ( that is the nice way to describe it) I had to go to a cable shifter after moving my transfer case up by about a 1/2 " when using the Clayton cross member. I can only see clocking if you were going to go to a dana 300 or and Atlas...

Ram" My opinion"Rod

I'd just leave it be but it hangs low enough and my Jeep is low enough that a flat belly could be really helpful. Its not going any taller so I may as well create clearance. I'm with Mac though, not sure how you'd make the stock linkage work. IIRC Doug built a sweet crossmember for Sam's Jeep.

i just raised the mount point up a touch and tossed a hoop on the back for the case...weve never had any case issues except that the long h&T sye is maxing the double cardan out. But i have a super short sye on the shelf out of tj to go in it...that should fix and ds angle issues ive created.

bam.... tcase skid, ugly but effective

Heck we have been looking for a stock t-case skid for Jeep. Can't find them in the junk yard. Half tempted to just make something
